Kyle's BIO
Kyle was born in Winter Park, Florida, where he was raised throughout his childhood. He attended Winter Park High School where he played basketball and tennis and was also the Student Body President his senior year. Kyle also enjoyed community service events in high school as he was Vice President of Beta Club and participated in events helping the community regularly.
In Kyle's freshman year at the University of Florida, he was a manager for the University of Florida men's basketball team, working under head coach Billy Donovan. It was during this time, when Kyle realized he wanted to work in the sports industry. Kyle resigned from the manager position in January of 2011 in order to launch his professional career.
Throughout college, Kyle gained many valuable experiences in the sports reporting industry. He has worked for a variety of outlets including ESPNU Campus Connection, ESPN Radio 850/900, WUFT-TV, Gator Sports Network, Union County Radio, and had an extremely valuable internship in the summer of 2012 at WFTV Channel 9 in Orlando, Florida. Kyle gained experience in local sports, interning at WESH Channel 2 in Orlando. His responsibilities included hosting a sports talk radio show, shooting, editing and producing a sportscast as a sports anchor for television, live shots on television at various locations. Kyle has a high sports IQ in all sports at the University of Florida, and using Premiere Pro and Final Cut to edit video. Kyle was also named the Cheez-It Real Fan of the Week by College GameDay when ESPN came to Gainesville.
During the the 2012-2013 school year, Kyle also wanted to make a difference in student's lives. He became an assistant coach on the Gainesville High School Basketball Staff. He mainly worked with the Freshman and Junior Varsity Teams as his team went on to finish the season 13-2. Overall, Kyle believes that he has never worked a day in his life, as he lives for his passion of sports.
Currently, Kyle works as the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as a Digital Media Specialist. Kyle manages the video content on Huskers.com and helps manage social media content for the Huskers. Kyle hopes to continue to grow at Nebraska and eventually be the head of a media program at an organization.
